My husband andI live in Weeki Wachee (Hernando County) but love to get in the car and drive to Tampa which is only about 45 minutes and NO TRAFFIC. Coming from Long Island, NY this is so nice. If you are a Long Islander, you are familiar with the longest parking lot known as the "LIE" and that's no lie! My nephew was passing through on his vacation from LI and was in Tampa and asked if we could meet him there. No problem and my husband and I said if we were in LI and someone wanted to meet us in Nassau County (same time), because of traffic, we would not have been so happy.

We met Chris at Whiskey Joe's on the Courntey Campbell Causeway which is next to a beach and a on Tampa Bay. It is just so relaxing; no hassle. The food was decent - I had the fish and chips, and my husband and Chris had the hamburgers which were fresh. Chris knows his burgers.

The sun was setting and it could not be more beautiful. I love it here; life is hassle free; I love being a realtor and love the fact of no traffic.
