Spring Cleaning Tips
March 3, 2023

Spring is right around the corner and we wanted to help you with some spring cleaning tips!

Here are five tips for spring cleaning around the house:

  1. Make a plan: Before you start cleaning, make a plan of what areas you want to tackle and in what order. This will help you stay organized and motivated. Consider making a checklist of tasks for each area so you can keep track of what you've done and what still needs to be done.

  2. Declutter: Spring cleaning is a great time to get rid of things you no longer need or use. Go through your closets, drawers, and other storage areas and donate or throw away anything that you haven't used in a year or more. This will not only help you clear space but also make it easier to keep your home organized in the future.

  3. Start from the top: When it's time to clean, start from the top of each room and work your way down. This means starting with dusting and cleaning ceiling fans and light fixtures, then moving on to cleaning windows and walls, and finishing with vacuuming or mopping the floors.

  4. Focus on high-traffic areas: Some areas of your home may need more attention than others. For example, your kitchen and bathroom are likely to see more wear and tear than your bedroom. Focus your cleaning efforts on high-traffic areas and give them extra attention.

  5. Use natural cleaners: Spring cleaning is a great opportunity to switch to natural cleaners that are safer for you and the environment. There are many natural cleaning products available, or you can make your own using ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice. They are not only effective but also inexpensive and eco-friendly.
